Ty Derw is Open For Business!

We are very happy to announce that as long as the infection rates remain low we are able to re open on July 14th! We are opening two rooms initially so that we are able to adjust to the extra measures necessary for reopening. All of the formal stuff is below for your information but we are really looking forward to having guests again. Please call or email us to make a reservation, we always  appreciate direct bookings from our guests.

Hope to see you soon

Gill and Jason

We will be taking all the extra steps necessary with regard to cleaning and checks as per Government advice. As part of this procedure we have to keep contact with guests to a minimum, adhering to current social distancing guidelines. Weather permitting we will meet guests outside the house and direct them to their rooms.

We will ask all guests to use the hand sanitiser station at the entrance to the property.

Access to the dining room (except for access) and guest lounge will unfortunately not be  allowed at this time. This means that we will provide a continental style room service breakfast to the room at an agreed time between 7:30 and 9am. Guests will be asked to complete a menu sheet for breakfast and leave it out for us no later than 7pm.

Guests are welcome to use the front garden to eat, weather permitting of course!

We will not carry out a full service of rooms but will empty bins and replace towels if necessary before 11am -after guests have departed for the day, unless otherwise requested.

We ask guests to use their own judgement in regards to social distancing with other guests inside the house i.e. taking turns and leaving space on the stairs and at doors.

We respectfully ask that any guest that has ANY symptoms of Covid 19 or that has been in contact with anyone with symptoms does not come. If guests arrive with symptoms we will insist that they return home to self-isolate.

If anyone staying in the property contracts the virus they must immediately let us know us so that we can inform of the next steps to be taken.

If a guest has developed symptoms during their stay with us they must declare it when leaving.

This guidance may change in line with any update or change to Government guidelines.
