2010 Season Price increase
After holding our headline B&B rate unchanged for five seasons we have been forced to increase our prices from April 1st 2010. The main reasons are the hugely increased price of heating oil and electricity, more than double what it was when we opened in 2003, and the ever increasing burden of interference from the authorities. Although successive governments claim to reduce red tape and regulation on small businesses the sad truth is that the opposite is true and although we have no problem meeting the various required standards the cost and time involved in dealing with them is onerous.
