Dinner at Ty Derw is a very sociable occasion when our guests get together to enjoy home cooked food drawing its inspiration from many parts of the world but always including as much fresh local produce as possible. We make almost everything on the premises, no boil in the bag, no bought sauces, no bought in puddings!
And, by the way, we are licensed and pride ourselves on the quality and value of our short but carefully chosen wine list, not to mention our selection of fine ales!
We even make all our own ice cream. We use only free range poultry and our meat comes from W Lloyd-Williams of Machynlleth, a local butcher with a wide reputation and a string of awards too numerous to detail but including Country Life Food Producer of the Year in 2003. Hopefully the sample menus will give you a taste for what we do!
We normally offer dinner from Wednesday to Saturday but it must be pre-booked. When dinner is not available we offer a selection of simple supper dishes including home made soups, pates, sandwiches, etc.
